This Privacy Policy explains how UC entities (for purpose of European and California data protection laws, “UC”, or “we”, “us”, “our”) collect your information through our advertising platform and our website at www.urbanconnection.co (“Site” or “Website”). This Privacy Policy is subject to any service agreement between UC and you. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please exit, and do not access or use, the Service. The Service is hosted and operated in the United States (“U.S.”), with development, support and maintenance operations in other countries. If you do not reside in the U.S., laws in the U.S. (and other countries) may differ from the laws where you reside. By using the Service, you acknowledge that any Personal Data about you, regardless of whether provided by you or obtained from a third party, is being provided to UC in the U.S. and will be hosted on U.S. servers, and you authorize UC to transfer, store, host and process your information to and in the U.S., and possibly other countries. • Data protection laws and regulations The parties agree that the following terms shall be defined as follows in connection with this policy: a. “Data Controller” means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data b. “Data Processor” means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller c. “Data Protection Laws” means the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679), the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/2426) and Section 1798.83 of the California Civil Code and all applicable laws and regulations relating to the processing of personal data and privacy as amended, re-enacted, replaced or superseded from time to time. The following UC Privacy Policy describes our policies for the, storage and usage of your “Personal Data.” For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means any information concerning the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable individual. Please note, UC is considered the “Data Controller” We limit to collect only Personal Data that you provide to UC, or for the purpose of handling the contractual relationship that you have with UC and only to the extent necessary for those purposes. Further, we only use and store your Personal Data if you have given us your express consent or if you have explicitly granted us permission. This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of Personal Data and other information that we collect when a user visits the site or creates an account on our platform:
• Request form: We collect Personal Data when you access certain of the UC Services and complete the required information request form. First and last name, physical address, email address & telephone number
• Financial Account Information: information that you provide for billing purposes of the, including bank account number, bank account title, bank
name, branch location, and routing number.
• Transaction Information: information related to transactions you conduct on the Service, including when you register for a webinar, event or download special content, and your interactions with the Service
• User Account Information: information that identifies you to the Service, such as your user name, email address, password, and IP address.
• User Content: to the extent that you choose to input Personal Data as part of such content, images, comments, and other content, information, and materials that you post to or through the Service.
• User social accounts: social media pages/accounts UC will never share, sell, rent, exchange or barter your Personal Data to or with any third party for financial gain or marketing purposes. By making that Personal Data available to UC, you grant UC the right, subject to applicable law, to use that Personal Data (other than Sensitive Information) to contact you by telephone and email regarding your use of the UC Services. We will also use your Personal Data for customer service, to provide you with information that you may request, to customize your experience with the UC Services and/or to contact you when necessary in connection with your use of the UC Services. We may also use your Personal Data for internal business purposes, such as analyzing and managing our services including, without limitation, the UC Services. If you engage in any interaction with UC other Users or any third party on any Social Media Pages or via the Interactive Services, you should be aware that: (a) the Personal Data that you submit by and through such Social Media Pages and/or Interactive Services, as applicable, can be read, collected and/or used by other users of these websites/services (depending on your privacy settings associated with your accounts with the applicable Social Media Websites), and could be used to send you unsolicited messages or otherwise to contact you without your consent or desire; and (b) where UC responds to any interaction on such Social Media Pages, your account name/handle may be viewable by any and all members/users of UC social media accounts. We are not responsible for the Personal Data that you choose to submit on any Social Media Websites or via the Interactive Services. The Social Media Websites operate independently from UC, and we are not responsible for such Social Media Websites’ interfaces or privacy or security practices. We reserve the right to release current or past Personal Data, including Sensitive Information: (i) in the event that we believe that the UC Services are being or have been used in material violation of the Terms and Conditions or to commit unlawful acts; (ii) We may use selected third parties to provide us with services, including companies that assist with programming and technical aspects of hosting and operating the Site, who may have access to your personal information temporally. (iii) We may share your personal information as required or permitted by law to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process or government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is legally required or otherwise necessary to protect our rights and property, or the rights, property or safety of others, including to advisers, law enforcement agencies, judicial and regulatory authorities. We may also transfer your personal information to a third party that acquires all or part of our assets or shares, or that succeeds us in carrying on all or a part of our business, whether by merger, acquisition, reorganization or otherwise. UC will cease processing the Personal Data immediately upon the termination or expiry of this Agreement or, if sooner, on cessation of the contractual activity to which it relates and delete all existing copies unless applicable law requires their retention; If you are visiting the Site from a country other than the country in which our servers are located, your communications with us may, solely where permitted by applicable law, including the GDPR, result in the transfer of information across international boundaries. By visiting the Site and/or otherwise communicating electronically with us, you consent to such transfers where permitted by applicable law. Even if your jurisdiction does not have the same privacy laws as the jurisdiction where our servers are located, we will treat your information as subject to the protections described in this Privacy Policy.
